Kathryn Lindquist was appointed to the Weber State University Board of Trustees in 2005. After eight years of dedicated service, she will leave the board in June. Beyond her role on the board, Kathryn’s contributions to Weber State University have been significant in many ways. For example, she has worked tirelessly to advance environmental and sustainability issues on and off campus. WSU is now nationally recognized by the Sierra Club and the Princeton Review for environmental efforts. Kathryn has also been instrumental in the development and growth of community-engaged learning at Weber State University and played a key role in establishing the Community Involvement Center. Kathryn’s generous gifts of her time, talents, skills and financial resources have contributed to Weber State's national recognition as a Carnegie Classified school for Community Engagement. Kathryn is also an avid supporter of the arts, including the National Undergraduate Literature Conference. These are only a few of the many areas where Kathryn has made an invaluable contribution to Weber State University. Her dedication and influence have made a significant and lasting difference.
